Top marks to Alfred & Co for winning best medium stand design in the 2009 Ice Cream Alliance exhibition in Harrogate
in November.

The event is the only
dedicated exhibition for
ice cream in the UK and this
year attracted large numbers of representatives from wholesalers, manufacturers and retailers to the Great Yorkshire Showground.

The competition to impress visitors with eye-catching stands was fierce, with
over 50 exhibitors promoting products and services including ingredients, packaging, manufacturing machinery and display equipment, and
complementary products such as bake-off, slush, patisserie, shakes and coffee.

Steve Henshall and Phil Doxey were delighted the stand made such an
impression at the show. The photo shows Steve and Phil receiving the winning certificate from Geoff Wraithmell, chair of the ICA 2008/9.

"Making a big impression at the exhibition was really important to us, so we
were really pleased that our efforts were recognised at the highest level,"
said Phil.
