Late in 2005, David Equi, MD of Equis in Glasgow, along with David Fyfe (Production
Manager) traveled to Aarhus in Denmark to the factory of WCB Ice Cream.
There they
saw the MF600 freezers being built and tested by the dedicated team of technicians.
They liked the feel of the place so much they bought the company - well not quite -
but committed to buying an MF600 fully automatic continuous freezer.
The unit was
installed early in 2006 and has performed impeccably throughout the year.
Using
this machine, David made his superlative ice cream that has won the accolade
'Champion Of Champions' at the Ice Cream Alliance's show in Harrogate.
David comments "It's a testament to the hard work of all 35 staff not to
mention the quality of our ice cream. Our investment in the latest technology for
ice cream production has certainly paid off".
